Across The Harbor

Imagine an evening where thirteen of Baltimore’s best songwriters and traditional musicians join together on one stage to celebrate the abundance of roots music alive in Baltimore. Across The Harbor is a musical confluence melding the music of The Honey Dewdrops, Caleb Stine, and Charm City Junction (featuring Brad Kolodner) with instrumentalists rooted in the Bluegrass, Irish, and Old-Time traditions.

Across The Harbor features new collaborations and reimagined songs. This ephemeral moment celebrates both the jovial and lamenting sounds found in the rowhouses, sidewalk corners, concert stages, and local sessions within Baltimore. Across The Harbor will transport you through time and space while exploring themes of rebirth and belonging.

Good News! The Avalon Lobby Bar and Ava’s Pizzeria have partnered together to enhance your Avalon Theatre experience by bringing Ava’s “Greatest Hits” as concessions before and after Avalon Theatre shows.

The Avalon Lobby Bar will be open every Friday and Saturday from 5-10pm. In addition, the Lobby Bar will be open two hours prior to and one hour after Avalon Theatre shows throughout the rest of the week. We hope to see you there.
