The Frederick Douglass Day Welcome Ceremony has changed its location due to the current weather forecast. We are moving the Frederick Douglass Day Welcome Ceremony to the Talbot County Free Library. It will begin at the same time - 10:30 a.m. (Please arrive by 10:15)
• The Frederick Douglass Parade that was scheduled for 10 a.m. is canceled.
• The Frederick Douglass Marketplace is cancelled.
• The Children's Village will be held indoors at the Talbot County Free Library beginning at 11 a.m.
• The Frederick Douglass Lecture - no change. Dr. Derrick Spires will be speaking at the Talbot County Free Library as originally planned at 1 p.m. with his book signing to follow.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the incoming inclement weather tomorrow, TCPS has cancelled all school activities, thus the Easton Middle School Band and Easton High School Band performances are CANCELLED.
In addition, the Covenant Choir will not be performing.

• There are no changes to the book signings - Jeff McGuiness will sign copies of Bear Me Into Freedom: The Talbot County of Frederick Douglass at Vintage Books and Fine Art from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Dr. Robert Levine will sign copies of his book at Flying Cloud Booksellers at 11:30 a.m.
• The Frederick Douglass artifacts- courtesy of the NPS, paintings, and the Frederick Douglass history panels will be on display at the Talbot County Free Library.
• The Frederick Douglass Geocaching Trail information and passports will be available at the Library.
