Talbot County Council 2026 Election Town Hall

The Avalon Foundation and the Talbot Spy will host a Talbot County Council candidates town hall on Tuesday, October 6, at 6 p.m. at the Avalon Theatre in Easton.

Jim Brady, news director at Radio Chesapeake, the Mid-Shore’s community radio and NPR member station, will serve as moderator. Before joining Radio Chesapeake, Brady worked in media and technology, including as an associate producer for The Oprah Winfrey Show and executive producer of Oprah.com.

Beginning September 16, the Avalon and the Spy will conduct a public poll to identify the major issues facing Talbot County and invite residents to submit questions for the candidates. The results will help shape the town hall discussion.

The program will include questions for the candidates, moderated discussion and two-minute closing statements. It will be recorded for later viewing on the Talbot Spy website and broadcast on MCTV.
