DC-based band Oh He Dead consists of lead guitarist Alex Salser, John Daise/Colin Sidley on bass, Adam Ashforth on drums, CJ (Cynthia) Johnson on vocals, and Piano (yes that’s her real name) Whitman on keys.

The close-knit crew is known for putting on a hell of a live show. Johnson “maneuvers her powerful voice — a combination of Stevie Nicks and Tracy Chapman” (Kojo Nnamdi) the band weaves from soul to rock to pop to funk to folk with a “sublime instrumentation” (NPR) and an “infectious and soulful sound” (Washington Post).

Before Oh He Dead takes the stage, local favorite Kentavius Jones will light up the Avalon Theatre with his signature heartfelt, passionate performance.

Kentavius' influences are broad and vast, and he is the sum of those influences. His style is a combination of singer, songwriter, and soul with an indie sensibility. Jones has shared the stage with Snarky Puppy, Mint Condition, and The Roots.

This will be THE fantastic fall event of October in Easton!
