This workshop is open to ages 16 and up. No experience necessary.

Objective: This curriculum aims to deepen students' understanding and practice of character fundamentals and creative process in acting.

Drawing from the methodologies of Stanislavsky, Chekhov, Brecht, Uta Hagen, and Grotowski, students will explore various techniques, exercises, and approaches to create nuanced and authentic characters. Expressive journaling will serve as a tool for reflection and self-discovery throughout the process.

By the end of the course, students will have gained a comprehensive understanding of character fundamentals and development, through a performance showcase.

This workshop is led by professional actress and director, Cecile Storm. Known for her avant-garde approach to theatre and film, her philosophy is deeply rooted in traditional technique. This session offers collegiate-level instruction for those ready to take their performances to the next level.
