Easton's Carnival & July 4th Celebration
The Janglebachs Bring Woodstock Vibe to Easton’s Fourth of July Celebration
In addition to getting out the Old Red, White, and Blue this July 4th, plan to put on your old tie-dye colors, too, when The Janglebachs perform music of the Woodstock Generation at this year’ Fourth of July Celebration in Easton.
“It’s hard to believe that the Woodstock music festival happened 50 years ago,” said Scott Milligan of the Avalon Foundation, which organizes the annual carnival fireworks display in Easton. “We thought it only fitting to mark that legendary cultural milestone with this year’s Independence Day celebration.”
In an all-ages concert that’s free and open to the public, The Janglebachs – Music of The Woodstock Generation will tell the story of a decade through its music.
Enjoy the ground-breaking, mind-blowing sounds that changed the world and the lives of the generations that followed: British Invasion, West-Coast Psychedelic, Country Rock, Pop and Soul. Experience the music that embodied restlessness and change, unforgettable melodies and irresistible beats. . . and pure musical joy!
Easton’s Fourth of July Celebration, located between the Easton Bypass and St. Michaels Road (near Target, will be on Thursday, July 4, 2019.
