Commodores: The U.S. Navy’s Premier Jazz Ensemble - Outdoor Concert!
Clean Water Concert Series Brings Fun, Music, and Bay Health to Easton
When it’s summertime, the livin’ is easy, as the old jazz classic says.
Especially here on the Shore, there are plenty of opportunities for enjoying and relaxing on the area’s waterways during the summer months.
The annual Clean Water Concert Series is a great way to celebrate the beauty and vitality of the Bay area. Organized by the Avalon Foundation in partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, the series offers free live music, dancing in the streets, and fun activities that engage kids in learning about caring for the Chesapeake Bay.
This year’s festivities begin on Saturday, June 1 with LatinX Night on Harrison Street in Easton, featuring the Latin-Spanish-Blues beats of Patrick Alban and Noche Latina, along with vendors serving up tantalizing international foods.
The series continues on Saturday, June 15 with an evening of classy, toe-tapping tunes by the Commodores, the U.S. Navy’s premier jazz ensemble.
A street dance party concludes the Clean Water Concert Series on Saturday, July 6 with the XPD’s and their groove-filled repertoire of jazz, R&B, Motown, rock, country, swing and everything in between.
Activities begin at 6 p.m. on Harrison Street followed by the music shows at 7 p.m. The rain venue is the Avalon Theatre.
