The Avalon Foundation seeks an enthusiastic, outgoing individual with experience in sound engineering and lighting design, along with a desire to learn and gain experience in the arts & entertainment, show business, and event planning industries.
The Technical Operations Assistant will report to the House Manager and Assistant House Manager and will provide Sound engineering and technical support for all performances produced by the Avalon Foundation. The position will also require some operational management to keep the building organized and ready for upcoming performances and events. This is a part time, hourly position with the potential to become a full time, salary + benefits position.
Stoltz Listening Room
Mix sound for Stoltz Listening Room performances Assist artists with equipment set up, sound check, and equipment break down Assist in bar and room set up for all Stoltz Listening Room performances
Assist artists with load in, equipment set up & break down for all performances on Avalon Theatre main stage Serve as Lighting Director as needed for performances on Avalon Theatre main stage Assist in bar set up and break down before and after shows, serve as bartender as needed Provide technical support for Met Opera and Talbot Cinema Society shows in the Avalon Theatre
Assist in setting up the venue for any upcoming parties, performances or meetings in the Theatre, Stoltz Listening Room, and 3rd Floor. Assist in managing bar inventory and restocking
